...And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
Rom 10:14
This Week's
Question
Q14
Did God create us unable to keep his law?
No, but because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all of creation is fallen; we are all born in sin and guilt, corrupt in our nature and unable to keep God’s law.
ROMANS 5:12
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.
PRAYER
LORD God, we thank You that You have given us a firm and stable faith in-Christ. Help us, LORD, by your Holy Spirit not to waver from this sold faith. All glory be to You. Amen.
LORD strengthen the sick. We continue to pray for baby Ria Mazonde under medical review [The diagnosis for a neuroblastoma is confirmed. The risk profile is low (which is very good news) so there’s a good likelihood that it will go into remission. They’ll hold off on treatment (chemo + some kind of medical IV treatment) unless the tumour continues to grow. She’ll have weekly checkups to monitor the tumor starting next week.] We ask for safety and health for those who are travelling to visit family in South Africa, UK, USA and Australia. We continue to pray for good rest and refreshment for Malvin and Emmanuel during the George Witfield College (GWC) study break.
LORD, we ask for Your continued hand of blessing upon the Trans:mission, ThirdMillenium and Sowers-of-Hope/Amalemi be Themba training across the Presbytery.
